Hope you’re having a great week so far! The weather finally broke in Vegas and now it’s a lovely 95 degrees dropping to the 60s at night 🙂

Yesterday I had a conversation that reminded me of something very valuable.

I have a group of friends in town for a couple weeks, one of them is Leo from New Zealand.

Back in 2013 Leo was a dairy farmer, working on his family farm, dreaming of a different life for himself.

He told me that he would go out and milk the cows in the morning, then come back and read my latest blog and a chapter from Lifestyle Entrepreneur.

Reading my blog and book, he started to dream up a new lifestyle for himself

He always loved fitness and started to think about opening his own gym and leaving the farm

Then we met for the first time in 2015 and he was just about ready to take action

After we spent some time together in person, and I encouraged him to go for it: “If you don’t give it a shot, you’ll always regret it. If you do go for it and it doesn’t work out, you’ll have learned something valuable“

That was essentially the advice I gave him (in a nutshell)

Today Leo owns 3 gyms in New Zealand and one of them just got voted Best Gym in the whole country, WOW!

But what blew me away was being reminded of the fact that when we share our story publicly, whether that is a blog or a book, we never know who might be reading it.

I’ve never been to New Zealand, but because I created content, shared it publicly on my blog and wrote a book for aspiring entrepreneurs…

Someone I had never met, in a place I’ve never been was inspired to change their life

That’s powerful stuff!

It was a timely reminder of the power of sharing our stories, even if we think it is “normal” or “nothing special” – that’s just because we have lived through it

But someone else could read it and literally change their life for the better

Then you could find out about it down the road, and be inspired as well.

That’s what happened to me yesterday, so I thought I’d share it with you
